I’m on vacation and I’ve spotty internet connection at best. So, just time for a quickie. I’ll be running some great giveaways when I return and will be back to reviewing new indie artists. For now, you’ll have to settle for a post I’ve been sitting on for quite some time. The night Ryan Adams and Elton John shared a stage together, April 2, 2002. It’s a great show. I’ve cut out a lot of banter and the interview segment, and I’m just giving you the great music. I’ve never heard either of these two sound better. Enjoy.
1. Firecracker
2. Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters
3. La Cienega Just Smiled
4. Answering Bell
5. Daniel
6. Oh My Sweet Carolina

Hi, where can i get this amazing show? is there anyway i can purchase it or get a copy???
thanks!
great balls of fire is a tiny file of applause. very cool! great music. thanks!
Sorry about the problem with my balls. Unfortunately, I can’t fix it right now.
Elton John is one of those artists where I need to be in the right mood to listen to, but when I’m up for it, he’s great.
I’m still not sold on Ryan Adams though…convince me that he’s worth listening to!
Thanks!
Like Ryan Adams music well enough (bigger fan of BRIAN Adams – no relation). And like Steve posted on July 18th I need to be in a certain mood to listen to Elton John. Although Elton John has some GREAT songs – maybe its because I say him in concert once when he was touring with Billy Joel and was a little disappointed in his stage performance (or lack thereof)…
That said I’ve always loved “Rocket Man” (thank god Eltons a better singer/musician than he is a performer)! It sounds interesting with Ryan Adams leading off the vocals, I dunno more soulful perhaps? Great catch ekko1!
What happened to the links? I found them on hypemachine.com, came here and then the show was gone! 🙂 Send me please please!
