Thx for posting the MP3s. I just saw Eddie in Boston on Friday and he did a pretty similar set though with more songs from Into the Wild. Overall one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I see you removed the zip file-- was that the whole show? Anyway you could mail me a copy?

first, thanks. ed's unusual no taping policy on the solo tour makes these hard to come by.

but... i'm not aware of any b-side called mookie. mookie blaylock was the band's original name. when i asked him about the name change, he said it was so they wouldn't be perceived as joke-y or goofy a-la royal crescent mob (he named them specifically, this was in 1991.) the only b-sides that might've been recorded during that era were wash, brother, just a girl, alone, and/or the beatles' i've got a feeling. and ten's intro & outro music master/slave. (dirty frank, yellow ledbetter and breath were written circa ten, but not recorded til after)

also, the roskilde incident was in 2000, rather than 03.

and forever young is a dylan cover.

but mostly thanks.

(i feel like the comic book guy in the simpsons knowing this shit.)

ps. if pearl jam didn't historically spoil the northeast, i'd call abe a bastard for getting to see 3 of these shows. and someone needs to have a word with ed about not playing into the wild's best song (long nights) even once. ok i'm done.

Just wanted to let you know that "Arc" isn't a B-Side, it's from Riot Act. Ed performed it nine times during the Riot Act tour, which was also the number of people that died during their performance at the 2003 Roskilde Festival. Being able to hear Ed perform this song in Santa Cruz and both night in Berkeley was amazing. By the third night I just closed my eyes and took it all in, a truly magical experience.
