5 REASONS FOR HOPING MY HEAD COLD GOES AWAY SO I CAN LISTEN TO MY HEADPHONES
Thanks in part to the fact that Hype Machine now refuses to pick up more than 3-5 mp3s per post (argh), and owing also to inflation, the top 10 reasons posts I usually do will now be 5.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled post.
1. and 2. I think MOKB ripped off my idea, don’t you? It’s too much of a coincidence. Anyway, my great readers continue to stay in the spirit of contribution, offering these cuts:
Rasberry Beret-Of Montreal. (Thanks Ryan!)
3. I’m Your Puppet-The Drive-By Truckers with Kelly Hogan. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I don’t have to to know I’ll love it.
4. Mr. Weiss has the new Ghostface single, Celebrate, and it’s waaaay better than that weak-ass Beatles sludge that the Wu Tang crew released a few weaks ago. And in case you’re wondering, GFK doesn’t sample Kool & the Gang–it’s the old Rare Earth celebration song.
5. And last but not least, this looks really cool. A mix of the top songs from 1981. So sweet and so retro.

Dodge at MOKB has had the Covers Project up for at least a couple of years - check out his left sidebar (scroll way donw). Even though he’s just up the road from me, I still have a special affinity for Berkeley Place. I hope your head feels better soon.

Oh, I know about his covers projects. I just meant choosing prince a few days after I did.
Anyway, it’s not like it matters–I don’t have a copyright or anything.
